Yes, the relations between individuals and societies are strained. I can go on and on. However, my main objective is to move away from reactions and affect actions. First, I will clarify what the outcome of being civil is and second will identify some guidelines to revive Civility in this new and challenging era.
My Civility in Action Model© defines that civility is all about doing acts of love towards self, and others. The Model states that when you are kind to others, you learn far more about yourself and to what extent you are able to extend your being. IT IS NOT ONLY ABOUT ME, IT IS ABOUT US. Civility is random acts of kindness, politeness and proper social behavior. Its outcome can empower, validate and transcend the human self to the realm of joy, happiness, truth and enlightenment. This can lead to inner peace, and thus to WORLD PEACE.
Watch for guidelines to revive civility in next week’s article.
