1. Lead your Personal Brand
- Find out your life goals, passion, direction, strengths, attributes and values.
- Tie them to how you want to be perceived. Once you are in total command and leadership of your brand, you can face any challenge because of your dedication and direction.
- Accept your situation and embrace change as part of the process to overcome challenge and look for the inherent opportunities.
2. Lead your image. Be in control of your body, mind and network.
- Take care of your health. Exercise, eat well and keep fit to have the strength to face challenges.
- Look inward and eliminate the strong negative emotions. They stop you from reaching your goal.
- Have a positive support system around you - people who care about your well being; family, friends, mentor etc.
3. Lead by example. Many times, you are so engrossed in a situation you forget about your behavior towards others.
- Keep your control and composure.
- Treat others the same way you want to be treated.
- Be responsible for your actions towards yourself and others.
